         Please join us for an informative workshop that will demonstrate the basics of archival care and preservation of print materials. This workshop will expand upon our fall workshop by teaching different techniques for preseving print materials, such as encapsulation (if you'd like to have hands on experience with encapsulation, please bring a small pair of scissors and a flat, 5" X 7" document, such as a photo, drawing or card). Also, please bring a brown bag lunch--dessert and beverages will be provided. Hope to see you there!

        The paraprofessional Forum’s seventh annual conference will present a program to enhance the professional development of paraprofessionals, and to provide workshops, presentations, roundtables, panels and networking opportunities.

        Dale Henry will be the Monday morning keynote speaker. Some session titles are Filtering & The Internet, Storytelling Secrets, Stress Management, Marketing Yourself, and Taming the Restless Patron. There will be several workshops dealing with computer-related technologies.

        A Sunday evening picnic, a Monday evening tee-shirt social, and the Special Buffet Luncheon and Extra-Ordinary Afternoon session on Tuesday are some of the special events planned.
