COLT Awards
-----------
_Library Mosaics_ and COLT (Council of Library Technicians) are
accepting nominations for two annual awards which will be
presented to individuals who have been outstanding in their
service to library support staff. Two awards, one for support
staff and another for a supporter of support staff (e.g.
administrator, supervisor, corporations, etc.) will be awarded at
the 1996 Annual COLT Conference to be held in Portland, Oregon
March 28-30, 1996. Winners of the award will receive a $100
prize along with a plaque noting their special recognition.
You may either nominate yourself or a colleague. Please submit a
brief description of the nominee, with a justification of why you
feel the candidate is deserving of the award. No more than two
pages will be accepted. The description should include a list of
activities, programs and other clear examples of why you feel
this nominee should be considered.
Selection for the awards will be made by an Awards Committee,
composed of selected support staff and _Library Mosaics_ staff.
The deadline for nominations will be December 30, 1995. You may
submit your nominations to: Library Mosaics, P.O. Box 5171,
Culver City, CA 90231.
