There will be over 30 workshops, round robins and roundtables presented at
BRANCH OUT 2001. Choices include Internet 101 (basic), Internet 102
(searching), Web design I & II, time management, writing your job
description, recommended Internet sites, copyright, data privacy, readers
advisory, electronic books and much more (including an evening of
adventure/exploration/ruminating...).
The theme for BRANCH OUT 2001 is "We are the Dynamic Links". The keynote
speaker is Linda Slusar, the winner of Library Mosaics/COLT "2000
Outstanding Supporter of Support Staff Award". She was featured in the
May/June 2000 issue of Library Mosaics. Here address is titled "Drinking
from the Firehose: Preparing to Work in the 21st Century Library".
