A very nice issue. I should also speak up as a BIG Katie Kintner fan.
Both of you keep up the good work

Subject: NYSLAA Article
Hi. The new issue of ASSOCIATES looks great. Thank you for publishing
my article about the recent NYSLAA conference. I intended to send the
same article to Library Mosaics, but since it has already been published in
your issue, Charlie Fox of Mosaics would like me to obtain permission
from you to "reprint" the article. If you could send me a message
as soon as possible that would help greatly since time is a factor. Thank
you very much.
[Editors: As always, ASSOCIATES gives permission to reprint anything published in any issue as long as 1) you cite us as the source and 2) you get permission of the author, if any.]

Subject: volunteer recognition
Does anybody have any suggestions for unique volunteer appreciation? We have
20 volunteers, do birthday & Christmas cards, an annual brunch but are ready
for
something new.
[Editors: Can anyone send June information? How about writing an article for
us?!?!?!]

Subject: Back issues
Thanks for making those back issues available. I can now catch up on those years I was out of the loop. Already I have made a collection of Katie's writings.I'm making a notebook of her things. Katie was my first mentee and we became close friends over those years of e-mail mentoring and conference jaunts. This is a special gift you have given us all. Please accept my congrats for a job well done and a "thanks" for the energy, time and caring it took to achieve what you've done. Your presence will be missed. Perhaps you can still stay hooked up to the List and keep us informed about life on the outside or open our eyes to things on the inside. I for one appreciate you.
[Editors: The Editors and Kendall say "thank you". Back issues are always available via http://www.ku.edu/~assoc/archives.htm
