Subject: Associates
Hi,
I'm interested in subscribing to Associates but need to know if there is
a fee for the electronic subscription, as I will be receiving it through my
employer provided network station.
[The Editors: Nope! Associates, The Electronic Library Support Staff Journal is, was and always will be free!! Which is what we work for, too :-)]

Hi, can you unsubscribe me from ASSOC-L? My old email address is
sromaine@unixg.ubc.ca which is automatically forwarded to my new email
address sromaine@interchange.ubc.ca. You have my old email address and I
can't unsubscribe myself. Thanks.

Subject: E-mail Address Change
I am currently on your listserv with the address: kgolden@connix.com.
My e-mail address is being changed. How do I tell the listserv my new e-mail address so that it
will keep sending me messages?

Please help. The listserv keeps telling me I'm not subscribed, yet I am
still receiving your e-mail copies of the latest issue. It's not that I
don't want to read your journal. Au contraire- it is excellent, but I
have switched access to the Web from our library Web page. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
[The Editors: This is a chance to remind everyone...If your address changes, you will not be able to unsubscribe or otherwise change your ASSOCIATES subscription as listproc will npot recognize you anymore. Just email us at associat@raven.cc.ukans.edu and we'll be glad to help.]

Subject: Web site
It's a very good site and an excellent way of reading the issues of
Associates; there is, however, one thing I don't understand: why in
some pages (e. g. "Information of interest") the hyperlinks work
well whereas in other (e. g. "The internet guru") they aren't active?
And If I could make a suggestion: why don't insert two buttons in the
navigation bar at the bottom of the pages for moving to the previous
or to the next article?
With the best compliments for the substance of them, I'm waiting for
the next issue. Best wishes.
[The Editors: Thanks for the kind words and excellent suggestions. With luck, all the links and email addresses are active in this issue. And we will be putting "previous" and "next" buttons on each page…maybe not for this issue, but definitely for next.]

Subject: web page queries
Dear Associates,
First, as I am a current subscriber, I was wondering how I get myself
transferred to the option where I just get a notification that the issue is
available and then I read it on the web? I seem to recall that was one of
the goals with the new page?
Secondly, I tried to fill out a survey from the web page and got a 404 both
times I hit "submit". maybe the server was being worked on at the time?
Even with all my whining, be assured that the site looks great! I look
forward to reading many more issues :>
[The Editors: It is now possible to subscribe to an announcement list, rather than receive the entire issue via email. Go to the Information of Interest page or, from the website, click on the Subscribe button. And, yes! The survey finally works. If you all fill it out, we may share the results someday!]

Excellent, interesting article ...! Travel articles are always interesting.
Maybe more of them? [Anyone interested? The Editors]
Thanks, keep up good work...
