JIM JACKSON

The Library Association has just announced that the winner of the Tom Farries Award for Personal PR Achievement is Jim Jackson, Honorary Secretary, Affiliated members of The Library Association.

"Jim Jackson developed and organised the BookIT project, which took place on 24 June 2000. It aimed to promote the increasingly technological nature of library provision by encouraging librarians to demonstrate the various ways libraries can offer the same text, in this case Shakespeare's A Midsummer Nights Dream." Jim is a frequent contributor to Associates and, indeed, has an article in this issue. Way to go, Jim!

One of these days it will be available online as well, but not today.
