Leading library supplier to support CILIP award for innovation in library and information administration.
The CILIP Robinson Medal, awarded by CILIP's Affiliated Members National Committee for excellence and innovation in library administration, is to be sponsored by the Demco Worldwide Group. Specifically aimed at attracting submissions from people working at para-professional level in the library and information field, the Award will be presented at CILIP's Gala Awards at the London Landmark Hotel on November 21.

Nominations for the Robinson Medal are open from 14 March until 27 June. Individuals, or teams led by individuals, who are working in the library and information sector in the UK and who are not eligible to be Chartered Members of CILIP, can be nominated. Applicants need not be Members of CILIP, but each entry must be supported by two referees, one of whom must be a Chartered Library and Information Professional. Practical application, adaptability, value for money, improved service to clients and improved efficiency are among the features that the judges will be looking for in the winning entry.
