Hope that everyone's summer is going well, and that the air conditioning is working! It is hot down here in Texas, but I hear that New York is just as hot right now. Here are some web sites that are excellent resources for finding out the importance of a date in history. The first three sites are the most extensive; but all of them are interesting. I will state that I have not had the time to check and make sure that all of these links are still active; as far as I know, they all work as of 7/7/99. Hang in there, and enjoy your summer!
