ASSOCIATES (vol. 8 no. 2, November 2001) - associates.ucr.edu

FROM THE EDITOR

The horrific events of September 11, 2001 will continue to haunt us for years. Some of the editors and contributors to November's ASSOCIATES have shared their views with us. Others have provided websites to consult for additional information. Our usual offerings are included as well: book and video reviews, features, and humor.

This issue does not have an editorial and is several weeks late. Right around deadline time I came down with a virus (the flu?) and was flat for two weeks. I'm still shaky even now. I apologize for the November issue coming out so late.

I thank Kendall Simmons for putting out ASSOCIATES again. I had hoped to be able to do it myself this issue, but Kendall was able to pull it through for us again. Thank you so much, Kendall.

I hope you enjoy the November issue of ASSOCIATES. As always, feel free to contact me directly about articles, features, and upcoming library events.

My best wishes to all our readers,

Wendee Eyler
